2020 ANNUAL IMPACT REPORT

IT’S ONLY JUST BEGUN

Thank you for partnering with our family to establish a mature church amongst an unreached people group.

A NOTE TO OUR FAITHFUL TEAM

Without a doubt, 2020 has been one of the oddest years of the last century. So many around the globe have been met with unexpected challenges, hurt, or frustration. PNG has been no exception. We knew the 2020 election would be polarizing…but throw in a global pandemic and I think everyone has been left scratching their heads for answers.

However, a continuous theme for us in 2020 has been the faithfulness of our supporters. Through all the craziness, God has continued to provide month-in and month-out for our spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. And he does it through His people, the church. In a year where so many jobs and family members have been lost, we are grateful that this vision to reach the unreached has remained a priority in your family’s life.

One of the few things worse than COVID is living and dying without ever hearing the name of Jesus. An injustice that trumps all other earthy injustices, being unreached has eternal implications. We long for the day when Jesus will return and finally bring justice to slavery, abortion, poverty, racism, and so much more. But the unreached will face the consequences of not hearing the Gospel for all of eternity. John writes this in Revelation:

21:4 - He [God] will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

21:8 - But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

The majority of Papua New Guinea still has yet to hear the gospel clearly in their heart language and we are committed to making that number 1 less. Thank you for your faithful prayers and generous donations in the midst of a global pandemic so that we can continue to labor towards a mature church. May God receive all the glory.

 2020: THE YEAR in Pictures

We’ve curated all of our pictures to show you just the best from our first year on the field, including some that you’ve probably never seen before!

FINANCIAL BREAKDOWN

Total Donations Received (2020)

WHERE DO DONATION OVERAGES GO?

All donations in addition to our overseas support level go towards one-time ministry expenses such as helicopter travel to remote areas, updated computer and tech equipment, and future ministry needs. Our financial strategy is to budget these overages so that we don’t need to ask supporters every time a one-time expense arises. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

As an example: plane tickets home to the US, back to PNG, and labor & delivery costs will surpass $14,000; however, due to your generosity, we have been able to budget accordingly for these expenses - thank you!

WHAT’S AHEAD IN 2021

WINTER

Rosie Kiyomi LeBlanc is due on January 22, 2020. After she’s born, we’ll work to secure her passport, visa, and our tickets back to Papua New Guinea.

SPRING

We hope to arrive back in Papua New Guinea early May to help fill a support role until Jan 2022.

SUMMER

Continue working at Sobega (central area support base) while we potentially survey one more people group.

FALL

Decide which location would be most advantageous for the gospel and begin planning for allocation sometime in 2022.

WHAT’S AFTER THAT?

THANK YOU!

We appreciate each and every one of you. Without your consistent support and encouragement, this ministry would not be a reality. We look forward to an even better year in 2021!
